Thanks, samccoy, for the info. I had not heard of Jaiku until now. I like your point about how some people appreciate the ability to leave comments, and some don't. I am just learning Twitter, but I think I am most likely to be the kind of person that just hangs back and follows others for cool info and ideas, but won't have much to be followed for myself for a while, since I am not actively teaching but am only a student.

I haven't really gotten the chance to follow anyone else yet, but I like it so far. This is a good way to share information. If I ever have any questions or am looking for something, this is a great place to ask people. I like it!

I should have known by the "Wow" in the title that this was one I should get started on..... Took me an extra couple weeks to get to it, but WOW! when I did. I LOVE Twitter. There are so many things you learn by sharing other people's discoveries. This is another way that my professional network is growing by leaps and bounds through this class. I am so excited to have more time to browse this, and to get more contacts built in I'm going to go check out Snitter, now....
